Welcome to HistoryWorldRankings, a social and cultural web site dedicated to bringing people with similar interests together. By accessing our site, located at http://historyworldrankings.com or by using its content, you are signifying that you agree to the Terms of Use (http://historyworldrankings.com/terms_of_use.php) and our Privacy Policy (http://historyworldrankings.com/privacy_policy.php). All entities who use our site are bound by the terms of use, regardless of whether or not they are registered users. If you do not wish to follow the Terms of Use and abide by all applicable laws, please do not access our site or use our service in any way.
We reserve the right to add, modify, or delete parts of this Terms of Use agreement at our discretion. These changes will be effective upon posting at http://historyworldrankings.com/terms_of_use.php. The effective date will always be listed at the top of this page.
Eligibility
Becoming a registered HistoryWorldRankings user is void where prohibited. It is important that all membership information that you submit is truthful and accurate, and that you take appropriate steps to maintain the accuracy of this information. You must be 13 years or older to become a member of this site. You must not represent yourself as being 13 years or older if you are not. At our sole discretion, we reserve the right to cancel your membership information at any time without warning, not withstanding if we believe that your information is inaccurate. Use of this web site without membership is allowed, but all such entities are still bound by the Terms of Use and solely responsible for their actions.
Membership Passwords
Upon becoming a member, you create a password that allows you to access your account. You agree not to share this password with anyone else. You are solely responsible for all activity from your account. You also agree not to use the password of another HistoryWorldRankings member.
User Content
You are solely responsible for all user content that you post or upload to the HistoryWorldRankings service, and bear all consequences of posting or uploading it. User content includes, but is not limited to, images, text, video, and sounds. By uploading content to the web site, you agree to let all site visitors access it free of charge on the HistoryWorldRankings web site. You agree to allow this content to be displayed, added to, modified, deleted from, and distributed on the web site. This is a limited license that does not allow HistoryWorldRankings to distribute or otherwise sell your user content outside of the range of the HistoryWorldRankings services. This limited license remains in effect the entire time while the content is hosted on the HistoryWorldRankings web site. Due to the nature of the internet, you also agree to hold HistoryWorldRankings harmless from any misuse or piracy of your content that may arise from visitors who access your content.

Protecting Copyrights and Intellectual Property of Third Parties

HistoryWorldRankings users are solely responsible for their own actions, and may not post or transmit prohibited content. Users are not allowed to post or transmit content that:

Termination
Although such instances are likely to be rare, you agree that HistoryWorldRankings may terminate your account and prevent you from accessing any or all of the web site due to any violation of the Terms of Use, at our sole discretion. HistoryWorldRankings may also terminate accounts due to any conduct that we decide, at our sole discretion, is illegal, harmful to others, or against the best interest of the web site. All terminations may occur without prior warning or communication.
Personal Information

You hereby waive any right you may have to trial by jury in any such dispute, action, or proceeding. Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or relating to our site or these terms shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
Other
The Terms of Use is the entire agreement between you and HistoryWorldRankings, and it supersedes any other or prior agreements between you and HistoryWorldRankings. By using the HistoryWorldRankings Site and Services, you accept the Terms of Use agreement in its entirety. HistoryWorldRankings's failure to enforce any provision in the Terms of Use will not constitute a waiver of any such provision. You and HistoryWorldRankings agree that any cause of action arising out of the use of the HistoryWorldRankings web site must commence within one year after the cause of actions arises. Otherwise, the cause is barred and void.
